As a lead consultant, Bobby Walters offers RSM US LLP clients his skill and experience in a wide range of technology disciplines. He currently specializes in Payment Card Industry (PCI) Report on Compliance (ROC), PCI Attestation of Compliance (AOC), PCI Self-Assessment Questionnaires (SAQ), and PCI readiness assessments. He has performed numerous audit and consultative engagements for companies looking to improve their controls and security posture, which includes compliance testing, reviews of logical and physical access controls, systems development, network architecture review, and policies and procedures reviews.
Additionally, Bobby has been the lead client technical advisor for companies within finance, transportation, health care, aerospace, and retail. In this role, he provided organizations with technology architecture review and design; backup and disaster recovery implementations; local area network and wide area network design of routed, switch-based networks; firewall design and maintenance; and Active Directory design and review.
Currently, Bobby is serving as the Central region leader for RSM’s Pride employee networking group. He focuses on bridging the RSM offices within his region to promote, educate, and build a safer, all-inclusive LGBTQ environment within the RSM network and for clients and communities. Working with local charities, volunteering for clients and educators, scheduling and promoting office events, and training employees are all responsibilities within this role.
Prior to joining RSM, Bobby worked with an original equipment manufacturer distributor within Cedar Rapids, providing 24x7 global infrastructure support. His responsibilities included maintaining 50+ servers, storage area network (SAN) management, Active Directory, network administration, backup and restore procedures, and end-user support.
