Bob Feldmann is partner and national industry leader for state and local government at RSM US LLP. He joined the firm in 1990 as a supervisor in the assurance practice and was elevated to partner in 2002.
As an external assurance partner in the Miami office, Bob works in the public sector, primarily with state and local governments and gaming entities. He is responsible for the vision, strategy, and execution of services delivered to governmental organizations throughout the United States.
Bob takes a holistic approach to client engagements, listening and learning about opportunities to better serve the broad interests of clients and help their organization achieve success. He is driven by a desire to empower RSM colleagues to succeed through mentorship and one-on-one career advising. Nothing makes him more satisfied than seeing his mentees achieve partner status through the firm’s training and professional development. He has served as campus champion leader of recruitment efforts for his alma mater, the University of Florida.
Prior to his current role, Bob served as the managing partner for both the Fort Lauderdale and Miami offices of RSM. He speaks multiple languages, thanks to growing up in a culturally diverse household, and has many opportunities to practice his Spanish language skills in South Florida. His positive attitude is evident in his enthusiasm for participating in RSM’s culture and diversity events that provide opportunities for a shared experience of cultural learning and understanding.
Bob attributes his success at work to maintaining a balanced and centered life outside the office. While he has held many roles at RSM, the roles he values most are those of son, husband, brother and father.
