Ayana is part of the Washington National Tax international tax services practice at RSM. She specializes in cross-border transactions involving complex international tax issues and joined the firm’s international tax practice in 2010.
Before joining RSM, Ayana worked in the international tax practice of a Big Four accounting firm, both in a field office and in its Washington National Tax office.
She has more than 19 years of tax experience, including more than 14 years focused on international tax. Her expertise includes tax consulting and planning, compliance, and controversy. She advises closely held businesses and public companies on foreign tax credit planning, foreign entity formation and classification, ASC 740 review, international tax compliance, income tax structuring for outbound and inbound business, controlled foreign corporation/Subpart F planning, intellectual property planning, and Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income planning.
Her clients include exempt organizations, private equity groups, professional service providers, government contractors, manufacturers and technology companies.
A frequent speaker, Ayana has presented on international tax topics at domestic and international conferences, including the Tax Executives Institute, the SelectUSA Investment Summit and the Humentum Conference.
