Stuart (Stu) Taub is the enterprise industry and enterprise markets leader for RSM US LLP. He is a member of the firm’s executive leadership team and leads the national industry leadership team as well as the markets executive leadership team. In these roles, Stu oversees the execution of the firm’s growth and culture objectives across all markets in the United States and Canada and the development of the overall industry strategy.
Stu has more than 30 years of experience with RSM. He has advised real estate investment trusts and real estate private equity as well as advisors, developers, owners and investors of properties such as retail, industrial, commercial, residential, hospitality, senior housing and manufactured home properties.
Stu is energized by helping clients and colleagues grow and succeed. He has served clients of every asset class and organizational structure, including startups, multinational Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting companies, private equity and closely held businesses.
A former member of the RSM US LLP Board of Directors at RSM, Stu has previously served as Tri-state market leader, New York City office leader, national real estate industry leader, Northeast region assurance leader and New York assurance practice leader, among other leadership roles.
Stu is a member of the board of directors of the New York chapter of Junior Achievement. An avid baseball fan, Stu cherishes his collection of pins made by his wife, who is his high school sweetheart, commemorating their trips to watch every major league baseball team play at their home stadium.
Stu is a conscientious leader who knows that when he doesn’t have the answer, he will always find the person who does. He embodies the firm’s value of stewardship with his goal to leave each client—and the firm—better than he found it.
