Jim Cashin leads business transformation services at RSM US LLP in the firm’s strategy and management consulting practice.
Jim has 30 years of experience advising public and private companies in business strategy, organization design, and process and technology optimization to enhance performance and improve financial results. Jim works with clients to automate and streamline processes and reporting through the selection and implementation of cloud-based technologies. His area of focus encompasses transformation services in finance and accounting, human capital and operations. He has worked with companies across technology, life sciences, industrials, consumer products and insurance.
In addition to his current role, Jim is a member of the national management consulting leadership team. He has also held other leadership roles at RSM, including Northeast region leader for management consulting and national leader for finance and accounting outsourcing. He is responsible for building high-performing teams at RSM that work to align industry leaders to target and collaborate on opportunities.
Outside the firm, Jim is active with the RSM Foundation and the Massachusetts YMCA where he is on the board of incorporators and is involved with inclusion programs for challenged youth. He is the proud father of six children and serves as a volunteer youth baseball coach in his free time.
