Jessika Garis is a national director in RSM’s health care business risk consulting practice. Jessika has more than 12 years of experience providing operational, financial and regulatory consulting, as well as outsourced and co-sourced internal audit services. In January 2019, Jessika was selected as a senior analyst in RSM’s cutting-edge industry eminence program, which positions its senior analysts to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the industries RSM serves. These senior analysts advise clients on conditions influencing middle market leaders.

Jessika has extensive experience evaluating the effectiveness of compliance programs and managing the internal audit function for health care organizations. She specializes in revenue cycle audits, including billing, collections denials and claims review, as well as comprehensive operational reviews. She’s well-versed in HIPAA privacy assessments. With strategic foresight and key leadership skills, Jessika developed and evaluated policies and procedures for multiple health care providers to meet federal and state regulations including HIPAA, OIG, CMS and HHS guidelines.
