From Air Force to RSM: A journey of transition and growth

“During my time in the United States Air Force, I was stationed at the Air Force Academy, serving in the hospital's administration department. That experience gave me the courage and confidence to pursue a completely new path: going back to school to become a chiropractor. 

After serving nearly two decades as a chiropractor, the thought of stepping away from a career I had known for 18 years was daunting. I wasn’t just changing jobs but stepping into an entirely new world. I wondered if my skills would translate, if I’d find purpose in a different kind of work, and if an employer would take a chance on someone with an unconventional background.

When I found out I had been selected for an interview for the client processing specialist role at RSM, I was elated.
