During preliminary screening, you may be contacted by a member of our talent acquisition team to gather additional information. After the initial assessment, we will provide recommendations to the hiring manager who will then contact selected candidates for an in-person interview.
We will work with you to arrange a time and provide necessary travel arrangements to one of our offices. During the interview, a local representative will greet you, discuss your application and answer any initial questions. Depending on the position of interest, you can expect to have two to four individual meetings with RSM professionals. You will have the chance to share your detailed qualifications and learn more about RSM, the position and our culture. If necessary, we may ask a candidate back for additional interviews before making a final decision.
Accepting your offer
If selected for the position, you will receive an offer package with a starting salary and summary of benefits. Generally, we expect your decision within a week. Once you accept, you will complete a form authorizing us to perform a background check that covers your employment history, references, educational qualifications, etc. This process typically takes three to five days. If no adverse information is reported, we will proceed to hiring and mutually decide on your start date.

Once your hire date is set, we’ll provide you access to our new hire portal, which gives you information on what to expect during your first day, week and months with the firm. It also provides more detail on the important relationships, trainings, benefits and other support we offer throughout your career here.
