Our STAR (Stewardship. Teamwork. Advancement. Retention.) employee network group (ENG) supports the advancement and retention of women by promoting advocacy and mentorship and providing professional development for our women employees and allies. Through the STAR ENG, our employees are given the opportunity to participate in networking, business development, growth skills training and recruiting efforts at the college campus as well as experienced levels. STAR also identifies and works with high-potential, high-performing women to ensure career success and pathways to partnership.
Through STAR, members have access to mentorship, sponsorship, forums for collaboration, community service and specialized training. A couple of the premier programs include the Star Success Series, focused on high-potential females at different stages of their careers, and the self-advocacy program, which is available to all women and allies.
STAR members also have access to national organizations whose missions are professional development for women. RSM has been sponsoring the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Women’s Global Leadership Summit since 2015.
