James Ward is an assurance partner who also serves as an industrials senior analyst in RSM’s Industry Eminence program. Jim’s experience includes providing financial statement audits and advice to global companies, privately held entities, and private equity portfolio companies. He is driven to support his clients and help them navigate the dynamic changes in the industry.
James is a leader at the Detroit office industrials products market and national automotive industry subsector. He has been involved in the global automotive manufacturing industry for more than 25 years and has proven himself as a top advisor to middle market automotive companies.
He has extensive experience in assurance services, SEC rules and regulations, PCAOB and AICPA standards, the Sarbanes-Oxley Act, International Financial Reporting Standards, as well as equity and debt offerings. Jim has led large, domestic and international multifunctional teams, as well as private and public entities, and always brings his background and experience to the forefront when helping clients navigate the business environment.
When James isn’t assisting clients, he also serves as Detroit office sponsor leader of the American Heart Association.
