RSM Names Pat Vance Consulting Leader and Member of Firm’s Leadership Team
CHICAGO – (March 13, 2022) – RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – named Pat Vance as the firm’s consulting leader and a member of the firm’s leadership team effective May 1, 2022.
In this role, Vance will be responsible for driving strategy and operations for RSM’s more than $1 billion consulting business in alignment with the firm’s Vision 100…Powered by our culture. He will continue to innovate new service offerings to meet the evolving needs of middle market leaders in today’s complex global business environment and create a compelling workplace where leading consultants can develop their skills and build their careers.

Vance brings more than 30 years of experience in consulting to this role. For the past year, he has served as chief operating officer for consulting with responsibility for overseeing all consulting operations and execution of our consulting strategy in alignment with the firm’s overall strategy. Vance served as national technology and management consulting leader from 2017-2021—a period of rapid growth and expansion for the practice. He joined RSM in 1986 as a technology infrastructure consultant and held a number of leadership roles prior to his most recent positions. Before joining RSM, Vance spent six years as a programmer and analyst at Interstate Power Company in Dubuque, Iowa.
Vance is located in Dubuque, Iowa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in management information systems and business finance from Loras College.
