RSM Opens Retail Experience Center at NRF Big Show 2020

Center empowers middle market retailers through Microsoft cloud technology

RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – invites National Retail Federation (NRF) Big Show participants to the firm’s interactive Retail Experience Center in New York during NRF 2020. This one-of-a-kind immersive experience offers retailers a firsthand look into how RSM can help businesses leverage the Microsoft Cloud as a competitive advantage to enable intelligent retail.

The RSM Retail Experience Center will launch during the show with extended hours to accommodate NRF attendees from Jan. 12 to 15 at Priority Bicycles, a retail showroom at 174 Hudson Street, New York, that features Microsoft cloud technology. Retailers attending NRF are invited to tour the Retail Experience Center to see how RSM has applied the latest retail technologies at Priority Bicycles to drive growth, improve efficiency and deliver a premium customer experience. Visitors can discover up-and-coming retail innovations, learn how to adapt them to their own businesses, engage in live demonstrations and meet with RSM’s specialized retail experts. A variety of technologies and processes that enable a connected store, connected commerce, customers insights, fraud protection, virtual assistance with AI, bots and more will be on display.

“RSM’s recent digital transformation survey revealed that nearly 40% of our customers believe assessing new technology is one of the most daunting tasks facing their business,” said Benjamin Tickner, principal with RSM US LLP. “At our Retail Experience Center, we help retailers overcome that challenge by providing a hands-on environment where they can interact with new technologies, ask questions to our team of retail experts, and network with other industry leaders who are working to meet the evolving needs of their customers.”

The RSM Retail Experience Center provides opportunities for retailers to work directly with RSM’s specialized retail experts to reimagine how technology can enhance and future-proof their business. The technology featured in RSM’s Retail Experience Center is adaptable across e-commerce, brick-and-mortar and omnichannel retail.

“This technology enhances the customer experience,” said David Weiner, founder and CEO of Priority Bicycles. “We sell and market exclusively online but the technology that will be on display can be used by any retailer, regardless of whether they operate online, in brick-and-mortar or as a hybrid.”

“We’re pleased that RSM is joining us at NRF to showcase how technology is being applied to help retailers compete and succeed,” said Greg Jones, director of business strategy for Worldwide Retail at Microsoft. “As the retail industry continues to transform, our partners are critical in helping us solve retailers’ biggest challenges and uncover valuable new opportunities to reimagine retail.”

Retailers interested in touring the RSM Retail Experience Center during NRF 2020 can reserve a time slot here. Free transportation to and from the Retail Experience Center will be available for those attending NRF.
