Accounting Today Ranks RSM No. 5 on List of 2025 Top 100 Firms
CHICAGO – (April 29, 2025) – Accounting Today released its 2025 Top 100 Firms list last month, ranking RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the leading provider of assurance, tax and consulting services for the middle market – No. 5 on the list. This is the 19th consecutive year RSM has received this ranking on the annual list.
The “Planting the Seeds of Growth” section of Accounting Today’s special report states that the largest firms in the profession are incorporating a variety of elements into their overall growth plans. RSM, for example, is taking numerous steps, including:
- expanding its outsourced solutions;
- taking a lead in helping clients navigate regulatory and tax changes;
- expanding its consulting services, particularly in digital transformation, cybersecurity and AI; fostering internal innovation;
- upskilling its staff; and
- boosting its retention rates.
The firm also announced in October 2024 that RSM US and RSM UK are in advanced discussions for a transatlantic merger to strengthen their global client offerings and deliver long-term growth. “By aligning these strategies with our clients’ dynamic needs, we aim to deliver exceptional value while strengthening our position as the leader serving the middle market,” said Brian Becker, managing partner & CEO with RSM US LLP.
Other RSM activities highlighted in the report include:
- The May 2024 announcement of a client experience leader, Donna Sciarappa,
- The August 2024 announcement of a strategic business alliance with Equifax to help clients improve sustainability and supply-chain resiliency,
- The October 2024 launch of a suite of outsourced solutions for middle-market companies, RSM Catamaran,
- The January 2025 announcement of an audit quality board.
