Great Place to Work® has honored RSM US LLP (“RSM”) – the nation’s leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services focused on the middle market – as one of this year’s Best Workplaces for Parents™. Earning a spot on this prestigious list means that RSM is one of the best companies to work for in the country.
The Best Workplaces for Parents award is based on analysis of survey responses from more than 6 million current U.S. employees. In that survey, 92% of RSM’s employees said that RSM is a great place to work. This number is 59% higher than the average U.S. company.
Among the benefits offered by RSM are paid maternity and parenting leaves for new parents and Bright Horizons resources to connect them with reliable childcare and back-up care when usual care is unavailable. The firm also offers adoption assistance and expense reimbursement options.
“We are so grateful for our dedicated people who have made us a part of this important list,” said Katie Lamkin, chief human resources officer. “Our people make working at RSM a truly special experience every day. We celebrate and thank them for all they do to earn this incredible honor for our firm.”
The Best Workplaces for Parents list is highly competitive. Great Place to Work, the global authority on workplace culture, selected the list using rigorous analytics and confidential employee feedback. Companies were only considered if they are a Great Place to Work-Certified™ organization. Other companies joining RSM on the Best Workplaces for Parents list include Bank of America, Cisco, Hubspot, Salesforce, Zillow Group and others.
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.
“Congratulations to Great Place to Work’s Best Workplaces for Parents™,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®. “The pandemic presented parents with unique challenges that impacted their work- and home-lives. But these companies paid close attention to the experiences of their working parents and ensured that they didn’t have to choose between a thriving career and being present for their children.”
Earlier this year, Great Place to Work® and Fortune named RSM one of the 2021 Best Workplaces for Women™, a 2021 Best Companies to Work For®, and Great Place to Work® included RSM on its 2021 lists of Best Workplaces in Consulting & Professional Services™, Best Workplaces in Texas™, Best Workplaces in Chicago™ and Best Workplaces in New York™.
