RSM supports charitable causes through volunteer activities, fundraising and donations. We offer many options for our employees to get involved in their communities. Here are a few of the ways we’re making a difference:
Established in 2010, RSM US Volunteer Day represents our commitment to the communities in which employees live and work. In 2016, more than 2,900 employees and clients participated in 175 volunteer initiatives supporting more than 100 different charitable organizations across the country.
The RSM Classic
Since its inception in 2010, The RSM Classic, A PGA TOUR Event sponsored by RSM, has raised more than $4.8 million for Special Olympics, Boys and Girls Clubs of Southeast Georgia and other local and national charitable organizations.
Birdies Fore Love
Originated by the Davis Love Foundation, Birdies Fore Love has generated financial support for many charities focused on improving the quality of lives for children and families in the Southeast. With RSM's support, Birdies Fore Love expanded the Foundation’s reach to include charities focused on children and families nationwide. Employees can pledge a lump-sum made at The RSM Classic during tournament rounds each year. One hundred percent of donations go directly to nonprofits designated by each RSM office in the U.S.
Partners Give Back
At its 2015 Partner and Principal meeting, more than 700 of RSM US’s leaders demonstrated their commitment to stewardship by giving back to Three Square Food Bank in Las Vegas, the meeting’s host city. The firm's partners and pricnipals participated in a 5K race which raised $152,975 for children and families supported by Three Square.
New Hire Philanthropy
From day one, RSM provides its new employees with every opportunity to make a difference in our communities. Our Starting Your Career at RSM learning program offers new associates the opportunity to participate in volunteer projects, including assembling military care packages for service men and women. Working in partnership with the U.S.O. , participants assembled more than 330 care packages.
