Celebrating Jewish American Heritage Month

In 2006, President George W. Bush declared May as Jewish American Heritage Month (JAHM) – a time to recognize Jewish Americans for their many contributions to the United States.

JAHM honors the values of inclusion, acceptance and religious liberty – values that we at RSM share, and that our Interfaith and Multicultural employee network groups embrace and foster among our entire employee population.

This month, in honor of JAHM, we’re holding a lunch-and-learn on May 28 in our Chicago office, where we’ll spotlight 10 Jewish Americans who have made an impact on our country. This is just one example of the types of activities our firm’s 11 employee network groups sponsor as a way to connect those with similar values and backgrounds, as well as with those who might simply be interested in understanding more about the diverse people with whom they work.

We hope you’ll join us in celebrating the more than 350-year history of Jewish contributions to the American culture this month.
