Phil Gaeta is a member of RSM US LLP’s state and local tax (SALT) asset management practice and is the firm’s national SALT digital leader. He primarily focuses on serving clients in the financial services and real estate industries. He spent his first three years at RSM as a product owner of PartnerSight®, RSM’s enterprise-wide tax allocation, tiering and reporting platform.
Phil has over 18 years of industry experience; the majority of that time has been focused on providing clients with federal and state tax compliance and consulting services. Recognizing that technology could alter the way partnership tax compliance is done, he spent four years working at a consulting firm focused on providing clients data-driven solutions through data analytics, automation and visualization. As a result, his approach to the tax process is to lead with technology to help clients create efficiencies and streamline reporting.
Before he joined RSM, he spent five years in Big Four accounting, serving clients in the area of SALT asset management as well as being a leader in partnership technology initiatives.
