Gavin Backos is a principal and private equity consulting co-leader for RSM US LLP. In this role, he is responsible for leading strategy, go-to-market execution and integrated delivery across consulting to address the complex needs of M&A clients. Gavin also serves on the management consulting leadership team responsible for setting strategic direction and driving transformational growth.
Gavin has over 25 years of experience in management consulting, with over 10 years spent with Big Four firms, specializing in business strategy, business transformation and performance, M&A (integrations and carve-outs), shared services, and outsourced advisory.
With a commitment to driving the ultimate client experience, Gavin is a collaborative leader who seeks to strategize with people, process and technology to deliver the full strength of the firm. Over the course of his career, Gavin has earned progressive responsibility across multiple aspects of business development, advisory, financial, technology, and operations, furthering his ability to manage change and seamlessly implement a vision and strategic road map for his clients.
