In her current leadership role, Donna helps develop the firm’s enterprise-level strategy and oversees firmwide operations. She started as an auditor in 1988 at a firm that was acquired by RSM. Donna now leads efforts to ensure that RSM is providing the highest level of excellence in customer service and engagement through a unique and differentiated client experience. Her focus is to help RSM bring the very best of the firm’s resources together to serve clients.
Stewardship is important to Donna, and her role on the RSM US Foundation helps fulfill her desire to give back. As a foundation board member, she works to ensure that charitable dollars are invested in activities that serve youth by providing access to education, health resources and housing.
As a working mom with a 35-year career, Donna invests time and energy in mentoring young women to become the next leaders of the firm. She has been involved with RSM’s culture, diversity and inclusion initiative since its inception in 2014. In addition to serving on the firm’s Inclusion Council, aimed at fostering a diverse workforce representative of the communities RSM serves, Donna is the national executive sponsor for the firm’s STAR employee network group, which identifies high-performing women and champions their path to partnership. In 2022, Donna was recognized among the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants' inaugural class of Power of Change honorees for exhibiting extraordinary leadership, community involvement, mentorship and innovation in women’s initiatives.
Prior to her leadership role with the firm, Donna was an audit partner serving health care entities. Outside of work, Donna is actively involved in the Cleveland community and enjoys gardening.
