Darian Harnish is a senior manager in the Washington National Tax office of RSM US LLP. He works diligently to tackle complex challenges in accounting for income taxes. Darian assists client teams in determining the appropriate treatment of complex or unusual aspects of ASC 740. He also monitors changes in tax law and accounting guidance for implications for RSM clients. He serves a variety of clients across industries, including private equity portfolio companies and middle-market publicly traded corporations. 

With more than seven years of specialty focus on ASC 740, Darian evaluates complex structures to provide clients with objective solutions regarding valuation allowances, unrecognized tax benefits reserves, and discrete items for interim provisions. Darian cultivates relationships with clients built on clear communication.
