In his role as the national retail sector leader, Chris works with middle market private equity-owned companies, multigeneration family-owned businesses and SEC reporting entities as both a technical resource and business advisor. He shares industry trends and best practices with clients across the retail sector to help them identify and solve complex business issues.
Chris is a graduate of the firm’s cutting-edge industry eminence program, which positions him to understand, forecast and communicate economic, business and technology trends shaping the retail industry. Throughout the eminence program, he worked alongside the firm’s chief economist and other program participants to analyze trends and themes affecting the retail industry. He continues to help shape the eminence program by developing thought leadership and strategic planning and staffing around the retail industry. Chris completed executive education certification in strategy and innovation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, helping him gain a deeper understanding of current business dynamics.
A relationship builder, Chris is involved in the firm’s culture and diversity efforts as a member of the Generations employee network group, connecting RSM colleagues ranging from first-year associates to senior partners. His quest to have a positive impact on both clients and colleagues helps the firm achieve its status as a first-choice advisor to middle market businesses.
Chris has played team sports his entire life, including collegiate-level hockey, providing him with a practical understanding of what it takes to motivate and inspire fellow teammates and clients.
