Chris is the consumer products assurance leader, leveraging his extensive experience providing audits to restaurants, franchisors and franchisees, and other consumer products companies. As an assurance leader, he helps clients plan and manage strategies for audit services and due diligence related to mergers and acquisitions. His background and experience serving middle market clients has prepared him for guiding his team to deliver the power of being understood to every RSM consumer products client.
In his role as the national restaurant and franchise leader, Chris provides insights to the marketplace about issues and trends affecting restaurants, franchisors and franchisees. He works with client service teams across the country to successfully serve a growing number of middle market franchises by providing insight into the critical issues affecting the marketplace. He also leads RSM’s national restaurant team, where he helps execute the firm’s industry-focused, go-to-market strategy to meet client needs.
Chris joined the restaurant industry practice in 2013 and is passionate about serving the needs of restaurateurs and retail operators. His strength is getting to know clients, learning about their business and helping them through the audit process.
Born and raised in Iowa, Chris served in RSM’s Cedar Rapids office before moving with his wife and two sons to Dallas in 2012. He played baseball and golf at the University of Dubuque before transferring to the University of Northern Iowa, his alma mater.
