Jamie Klenieski appointed to the National Peer Review Committee

Jamie Klenieski, RSM’s Audit Quality and Risk Leader, recently was appointed to the National Peer Review Committee of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), with his term beginning May 26. Among other duties, the National Peer Review Committee administers peer reviews for firms that perform or play a substantial role in engagements performed under Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, firms that provide quality control materials that are used by other firms, and firms that elect to have their review administered by the Committee.
Jamie brings extensive knowledge and pertinent experience to the National Peer Review Committee. In his role as RSM’s Audit Quality and Risk Leader, he has primary responsibility for the firm’s internal inspection, peer review process, and regulatory inspections of our firm by the PCAOB, Canadian Public Accountability Board and the U.S. Department of Labor. He is actively involved in the AICPA Center for Audit Quality, having participated in its task forces regarding internal control over financial reporting, audit quality indicators, independence and quality control standards. In addition to being a certified public accountant, Jamie also is a certified fraud examiner.
