Negotiating career and leadership success

IN-PERSON EVENT  |

With guidance, time and practice, all leaders can develop a unique and authentic negotiating voice. Refining these skills gives us an opportunity to use our voices to close the gender wage gap; uncover career goals and aspirations; negotiate salaries, contracts and deals; and ultimately achieve leadership success (as well as respect from peers).

This interactive workshop will provide an overview of integrative negotiation and its relevance to leaders at various stages of their careers. It will introduce concepts, skills and strategies that have proven to be effective in attaining personal and career success. Any business leader looking to build these skills—and professional networks—should attend.

This event is hosted by RSM’s STAR network—which promotes stewardship, teamwork, advancement and retention of women. While the group’s mission is rooted in female advancement, the STAR network connects employees and members of our business community interested in leadership issues. It also identifies and works with high potential, high-performing leaders to ensure career success. As such, the event is open to business leaders of any gender.
