CEO Action for Racial Equity

RSM's CEO Task Force for Racial Understanding recently invited interested individuals to apply to step aside from their current role to serve in the CEO Action for Racial Equity fellowship program. The selected six RSM representatives will work alongside fellows from other firms to identify, develop and promote scalable and sustainable public policies and corporate engagement strategies that will advance racial equity and improve societal wellbeing. Representatives Tanya and Daniel are compelled to continue to work toward change as CEO Action fellows. 

Tanya Coker-Fergusson’s leadership displays her passion for affecting change within society. She leads RSM’s Boston office African American and Canadian Excellence employee network group in a mission to help foster a more diverse and inclusive workplace at RSM through strategy, programming and dialogue, that optimally supports recruitment and retention of black accountants and consultants.

Daniel O’Brien’s impact on RSM’s Culture, Diversity and Inclusion strategy has been palpable. He has participated in and led CDI programming, involvement in diverse professional organizations, and leads the firm’s Generation’s employee network group nationally, giving him empathy and exposure to micro aggressions and challenges marginalized groups face.
