Diversity and Inclusion
Attracting, retaining and continually developing a diverse team of talented professionals lies at the heart of this commitment. RSM further strives to create an inclusive workplace that celebrates the differences among our talented employees, while enabling them to embrace full ownership of their work and personal lives.
RSM views diversity and inclusion as a continual journey. Each step we take along the path further enhances our ability to develop global leadership, integrate cultural differences, improve workforce productivity and exceed the expectations of our clients.
RSM US LLP creates a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees through our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence and stewardship. Based on our values, we stand with our lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender partners, principals, employees and clients against any discriminatory practices or laws.
As a testament to the firm’s commitment to diversity and inclusion, RSM US announced Richard Caturano, partner and Chairman of the Board of Directors for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), as its national leader of culture, diversity and inclusion, in June 2013.
Caturano oversees the firm’s strategic culture, diversity and inclusion initiatives. In his AICPA role, Caturano has been a tireless advocate of diversity and inclusion-related programs and activities for the accounting profession as a whole.

Connect through RSM Employee Network Groups (ENGs)
In today’s global business environment, diversity and inclusion are essential to RSM’s productivity, creativity and competitive advantage. Our employee network groups (ENGs) provide opportunities for volunteerism, professional development, mentorship and networking with all levels across the firm. RSM leaders look to our ENGs for innovative insights to help enrich experiences for our clients and our people.
The Power of Culture, Diversity and Inclusion
Each year teams of RSM ambassadors participate in diverse professional organization conventions as part of our commitment to cultural understanding. These events are an opportunity for employees to learn, grow and build meaningful relationships with each other and other professionals.
