Yellen and retail sales could set the tone this week

Forward-looking investors will be interpreting a spate of Federal Reserve (Fed) rhetoric, the Federal Open Market Committee minutes and a Friday speech from Fed Chair Janet Yellen at the 60th annual economics conference of the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
The U.S. data feed will feature first-tier data on inflation, the labor market, retail sales and small business confidence. In addition, the U.S. Treasury will issue $24 billion in three-year notes on Wednesday, $20 billion in 10-year notes and $12 billion 30-year bond reopening.
