Weak jobs report links U.S. economy to global growth slowdown
WEEKLY MARKET COMMENTARY |
After the disappointing September employment report, investors will be looking for further evidence of linking the U.S. economy to the global growth slowdown.
This week will see a light five days of economic releases with the focus on the September Federal Reserve Open Market Committee (FOMC) minutes and the six Fed speakers who will be providing their outlooks on the U.S. economy and monetary policy. Outside of the U.S., investors will be looking at the business outlook in Canada and the publication of the Bank of England’s Monetary Policy Council Meeting later in the week.
