New and pending home sales remain sluggish

In the U.S. we will see a modest week of data published primarily consisting of housing, durables income, spending and employment data. The Federal Reserve (Fed) will send 12 different speakers to market featuring Fed Chair Janet Yellen’s testimony before a House Committee on banking supervision on Wednesday.
The U.S. Treasury will issue $26 billion in two-year notes Monday, $34 billion in five-year notes on Tuesday and $28 billion in seven-year notes on Wednesday. On the global stage this Friday, the Canadian gross domestic product report, Euro-area unemployment and Euro-area inflation data will be published.
