Labor data to drive asset pricing
WEEKLY MARKET COMMENTARY |
Investor focus in the week ahead will likely be placed on auto sales, service sales, manufacturing and labor data as the market turns toward a possible Federal Reserve (Fed) rate hike to close out 2016.
The capital problems at Deutsche Bank will likely remain at the forefront of investors’ concerns in addition to the growing uncertainties surrounding the U.S. election that may be causing large firms and households to postpone the purchase of big ticket items. The Fed will send seven speakers to address the public with Fed Vice-Chair Stanley Fischer’s address on Friday being the most likely to move markets following the Friday publication of the September U.S. employment report.
