Mitigating Board Information Risk
Watch the NACD BoardVision video
The widening information gaps between the C-suite and board—also known as asymmetric information—can pose a significant risk to boardroom operations or possibly lead to significant corporate crisis.
The white paper is the result of a series of roundtables that the NACD and RSM hosted with 42 corporate directors and executive suite officers in four cities, with the discussion focusing on their personal best practices to enhance communications between the board and management. The goal of the roundtables was to identify information gaps and hear how their colleagues are communicating with each other.
Read the paper to see what the six warning signs that gaps in the flow of information have become too large and preventative measures a board could take to address the issue.
