Understanding the internet of things in the food and beverage sector

Internet of Things strategies differ among food and beverage companies. According to RSM’s recent Food and Beverage Monitor Survey, 22 percent of food and beverage companies are not planning an Internet of Things strategy because it’s too expensive; however, 43 percent are implementing Internet of Things strategies to reduce operational costs.
