2014 McGladrey Monitor survey to benchmark global performance
MANUFACTURING INSIGHTS |
The 2014 McGladrey Manufacturing & Distribution survey launched on Tuesday, Feb. 18. Invitations to participate in the survey have been sent to industry executives across the country and, for the first time, to executives in countries around the world. We value your perspective, and encourage you to participate in this annual industry survey. The survey officially closes March 7.
Since 2006, the Monitor has identified industry best practices in the United States across a range of issues. The 2014 survey will empower industry executives to make informed strategic and tactical decisions with information based on a detailed analysis of the industry in domestic and international markets. Reports based on survey results will address the concerns in major industry subsegments, including manufacturing, distribution, consumer products, and food and beverage. The Monitor reports also include comparative analysis of the industry by state.
Survey results and analysis are shared with the media, industry associations and government policy makers to help them understand the challenges and concerns facing the industry today.
In addition to a comprehensive industry report based on the aggregate results, survey participants also will receive a customized benchmark report comparing a participant’s organization to manufacturing industry peers across the country and around the world. Last year, the Monitor closed out with more than 1,000 participants.
The Monitor is conducted by the independent research firm, The MPI Group, Inc., on behalf of McGladrey and associations supporting the research. The information provided is confidential and accessible only by McGladrey and The MPI Group. Monitor data will be shared with third parties only in an aggregate form through McGladrey reports and articles, benchmark reports and presentations.
The customized benchmark reports will be available in May. The remaining 2014 reports — including the global report, subsegment reports, and state and country reports — are scheduled to be released in June and July.
