Club Managers Association of America World Conference Preview

The McGladrey team is eagerly awaiting this month's CMAA World Conference in New Orleans. Be sure to note where and when McGladrey professionals will be presenting:

  • Monday, February 27 at 4:45 p.m. – Philip Newman and Bob Salmore will host a round table discussion on what it really means to run a club like a business. The discussion will elaborate on several of the concepts addressed in the January 2012 issue of eClub News.
  • Tuesday, February 28 at 2:15 p.m. – Tammy Tassitano and Philip Newman will tackle the economic realities of food and beverage operations in private clubs. Addressing the perennial discussion topic, this session will distill the key operational differences that club members have to appreciate before being in a position to critique dining operations and the related financial metrics.
  • Tuesday, February 28 at 2:15 p.m. – Bob Salmore will participate in the HOA roundtable discussion moderated by a friend and fellow Corporate Advantage Partner to CMAA Kurt Kuebler of Kopplin & Kuebler. Bob's experience with bundled community clubs is second to none. This discussion should prove to be a spirited review of the nuances of an important sector in the private club industry.

Come and reconnect with old friends and make new ones too. See you in New Orleans!
