We Have A Winner

Congratulations to Robert Streb the 2014 McGladrey Classic Champion.

The Seaside Course at Sea Island Golf Club on St. Simon’s Island was the venue for the fifth McGladrey Classic, an official PGA TOUR® tournament. With a strong field that included a number of major championship winners, the competition was hosted by Team McGladrey Member Davis Love III. The tournament, and its Birdies Fore Love program, and raised substantial funds for charities at work in the local community. Streb joins previous champions, Chris Kirk, Tommy “Two Gloves” Gainey, Ben Crane and Heath Slocum, as another Classic Champion. The 2014 McGladrey Classic is the first PGA TOUR victory for 27-year-old Streb, a Kansas State University graduate and New Smyrna, Florida resident. His score of 63 in the final round of the 2014 McGladrey Classic is his lowest career round. Streb won the Mylan Classic, a TOUR event in 2012. He won his first professional event, the Oklahoma Open in 2009. Streb had 12 career top-five finishes during his college career at Kansas State.
