2017 Annual Chicago Nonprofit Summit

Make plans now to join us for the 2017 RSM Chicago Nonprofit Summit, an annual seminar and networking event focused on the unique finance and operational needs of nonprofit organizations.

In addition to their traditional role, chief financial officers (CFOs) and leaders of midsize nonprofit organizations are now frequently asked to lead the organization’s accounting, tax and information technology (IT) function areas. As leadership roles continue to evolve, technology platforms are also advancing at a rapid rate, and the risk environment in which organizations operate is changing, as well.

The Chicago Nonprofit Summit will focus on what today’s CFOs need to consider in order to juggle these factors and operate effectively in this strategic new role. During the event, our team of local and national presenters will discuss the following topics that may impact your organization:

  • Nonprofit accounting update, Susan Davis, Partner
  • Tax update, including Form 990 and areas of tax focus for exempt organizations, Zack Fortsch, Partner
  • Cybersecurity and how you can protect your organization, Jay Schulman, Principal

The summit will also include ample opportunities to engage in Q&A with presenters and network with peers.
