2015 annual federal grants management update
Annual update on grants management compliance requirements for nonprofits
RECORDED WEBCAST |
The changes enacted in the past year for federal grants management have been considerable and are typically seen once in a generation. Nonprofit organizations are now implementing these changes and will continue to apply new rules throughout the next year. Nonprofits need to have a full understanding of the new rules that apply to them, so that internal controls can be adopted and modified to meet the challenge. That way, they do not run the risk of noncompliance and a potential loss of funds.
Tom Sneeringer, partner with RSM, discusses current developments in grants management, as tailored for typical issues faced by nonprofit federal award recipients.
During this webcast, you will learn:
- The significant changes brought on by the new Uniform Grant Guidance (UGG)/2 CFR 200 that became effective on Dec. 26, 2014
- Special focus on the new procurement rules and subrecipient monitoring
- Changes introduced by the 2015 OMB Compliance Supplement
- Other changes in the area of grants management (DATA Act, etc.)
